Jude 5 Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. (ESV)

There are so many cults who deny the deity of Christ, make Jesus as a created being. However there are many scriptures in the Bible which shows Jesus is God. Many of us miss Jude 5, and it’s one of the best scriptures to show that Jesus is the God.

Who saved the Israelites from the land of Egypt? It’s God Almighty and here in the N.T it shows Jesus saved the Israelites from Egypt. Jude is boldly telling us that Jesus is not a created being but God Almighty, the Creator, the Redeemer, the Savior of Israel, God himself, God who became flesh.

It is God who saved people out of their slavery, It is Jesus who saves us from the slavery of sin, God was the mediator in the Old Testament, and that is Jesus as He is our only mediator.

Our hope is not on man made images, not on human leaders, not on other religions, not on philosophers, not on our earthly wealth but on God who became flesh, the Lord Jesus Christ.
