- New
Testament period is about one hundred years. After about 400 years of
silence, suddenly the silence is as God sent angel Gabriel to Zechariah
and to Mary. (Luke 1:13-20, 28-37) Then by dreams to Joseph and the Magi.
(Matt 1:20; 2:12-22) Then God sends the last Old Testament prophet, John
the Baptist. (Luke 3:2)
- God
revealed his glory, grace and truth, personally and directly in his
incarnate Son, who is the Word of God. (John 1:1,14, 17; 17:3-8; Heb 1:1-2)
- Word
of God revealed through the apostles. (1 Thess 2:13 ; 1 Cor 2:12-14; Eph
3:5; 2 Pet 3:15-16)
- Revealed
to us (1 Peter :10-12)
