Covenant Theology.
God’s relationship with men is always in terms of a covenant. It is a legal contract between two parties. Man’s responsibility to God is understood in the covenant. There are two or more parties in a covenant. God in his part has shown the promises and the threats in relating to man’s obedience or disobedience. The covenant of God is more than a mutual agreement as it goes beyond a mutual agreement, it is also a will or testament. It is an unconditional promise as God will not break his promises.
