It is America that has produced some great minds; students
come from all over the world to the United States to get a better education as
America has some of the best Universities of the world. The United States hosts more international students than any
other country in the world, a number fast approaching 600,000 per year. They
leave homes, families and friends in order to pursue their dreams in the United

God has blessed this nation with natural resources of wealth, freedom and democracy. Although people hate this blessed nation amazingly many are longing to come here. One in 10 U.S. residents were born abroad. The United States still admits 800,000 immigrants a year, more than any other nation in the world. Yes, they leave their homeland; friends and relatives to come here, yet how can there be such hatred toward America?
Christianity and
United States.
America has built churches and the send missionaries to all
over the world; many Christian organizations are helping the poor countries of the
world. President Bush has
proposed increasing foreign aid by $10 billion between 2004 and 2006. Whenever
there is a disaster in the world America is always there to help.
Why is it that people in other parts of the world hate America? Not because what America is doing but because we are Americans. America does good to others, allow students to come and study in the greatest Universities, give the foreigners freedom, help the poor countries. But yet they hate America as they think America is a Christian country. The root cause of hatred is what America believes.
America had it roots in Christianity. When protestant Christians were persecuted in England, puritans landed in America. Puritans built schools like Harvard. Christianity influenced the constitution of the United States.

When you enter the
United Stated Library of Congress, you will see the words, in God we trust.
You will see the
scripture, preserve me O God, in thee do I put my trust. (Ps 16:1) in United
States Congressional Capital Building.
July 12, 1804, President Alexander Hamilton's dying words
were "I have a tender reliance on the mercy of the Almighty; through the
merits of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a sinner. I look to Him for mercy; pray
for me."
And now, Almighty Father, if it is Thy holy will that we shall obtain a
place and name among the nations of the earth, grant that we may be enabled to
show our gratitude for Thy goodness by our endeavors to fear and obey Thee.
Bless us with Thy wisdom in our counsels, success in battle, and let our
victories be tempered with humanity. Endow, also, our enemies with enlightened
minds, that they become sensible of their injustice, and willing to restore our
liberty and peace. Grant the petition of Thy servant, for the sake of Him whom
Thou hast called Thy beloved Son; nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done.
Today we see a different America, America is not a Christian
nation anymore; it is a post Christian nation. America has forgotten her roots,
forsaken God, and turned to idols. Hollywood stars and celebrities are the
idols of America. Forsaken the word of God.
1Sa 8:8 According to all the works which they have done since
the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they
have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
As a result America has become a haven for other religious
cults. Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and other religions are growing in America and
many have forsaken the true living God and turning to these religions.
1Ki 11:33 Because that they have forsaken me, and have
worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the
Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in
my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my
judgments, as did David his father.
Gods name is blasphemed among unbelievers as many so called
ministers but truly false prophets are using the Bible for their own selfish
gains.
2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in
damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon
themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of
whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make
merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingered not, and their
damnation slumbered not.
September 11, 1777, [note the
date] the Continental Congress approved that 20,000 copies of the Holy Bible be
imported from other sources. A shortage of Bibles was caused by the
interruption of trade with England during the Revolutionary War. A special
congressional committee reported, "The use of the Bible is so universal
and its importance so great that ... the Committee recommends that Congress
will order the Committee of Commerce to import 20,000 Bibles from Holland,
Scotland, or elsewhere, into different parts of the States of the Union."
On September 11, 2001, exactly 224
years later, America was attacked by the providence of God and thousands
perished instantly. The great cities, which America built, were brought to
ashes in minutes.
America is following the sins of Judah and this is what God
said to Judah through the prophet Jeremiah.
Jer 5:15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house
of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a
nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
16 Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty
men.
17 And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which
thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine
herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy
fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.
In 1821, Daniel Webster defined the rules of longevity with
"If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on
prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions
and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and
bury all our glory in profound obscurity."
Jer 11:3 And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,
4 Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought
them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my
voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my
people, and I will be your God.
America should repent, the ministers of the churches should
go back to the purity of the Bible, we need to evangelize this post Christian
nation or else the cults and other false Christian religions like the Jehovahs
Witness and the Mormons will be doing what Christians ought to do. If America
does repent of her sins, still the nations will hate for what she stands but we
do not have to fear, as God is our fortress.
Ps 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my
fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings
shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for
the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for
the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
