Apostasy from true Jesus to another Jesus

When a Hollywood celebrity dies, the world mourns as a star has fallen. When Jesus was brought to Pilate the world cried, “Crucify him, Crucify him.” But today the world have nothing against Jesus. The world have painted a picture of Jesus who is very handsome, long hair, very mellow looking. The world says, Jesus will never harm anyone, will never judge anyone. He loves everyone no matter whatever they do. Dear friends, this is not the Jesus of the Bible, this is another Jesus. The world is embracing a politically savvy a worldly Jesus.
2 Cor 11:3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.
The Bible is very clear that many people will put up with another Jesus, another spirit and another gospel. Jesus is the center of the Bible. There is no gospel without Jesus. Satan is the architect of bringing another Jesus as it was the serpent who deceived Eve and the same serpent is there to deceive many by his cunningness. The deception is to lead people away from the true Jesus to another Jesus.
The famous picture of Jesus where the world has painted is not the real Jesus. The true Jesus is not handsome or good looking at all.
Isa 53:2 For he grew up
before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;
he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him.
Dry ground - Christ was not born in a famous city, in a castle but in a small town of Bethlehem. Born to very poor parents and Christ was born in a manger. He had no form or majesty – His outward appearance, he was not attractive, not handsome. He had no Hollywood beauty. He was not the captivating Jesus of the painting you see today. When you look at him outwardly, no one will be attracted to him.
It was the inner beauty that counts, the spiritual beauty where the world cannot see. The world will not go after this Jesus.
God is spirit and cannot be painted. Remember the Jews, when Moses was away for a long time, the made a golden calf, tried to make a god in physical form which kindled God’s anger.
Deut 4:15 “Therefore watch
yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the
fire, 16 beware
lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form
of any figure, the likeness of male or female.

Let us see a picture of the heavenly Jesus. Jesus of the Bible that is going to come to judge the world.
Rev 1:14
–17 The hairs
of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame
of fire, 15 his feet
were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the
roar of many waters. 16 In
his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged
sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as
though dead.
The world will hate this
Jesus.
Jesus of the Bible will not
compromise with sin. People who were
making a business in the church property were given a beating.
Mat
21:12 And
Jesus entered the temple and drove out all
who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the
money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.
He used strong language to
those religious leaders who did not believe in him.
Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father
the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.
Jesus called them snakes,
brood of vipers, hypocrites, whitewashed tombs and he called Herod a fox.
Jesus of the Bible is God Almighty in Flesh. God became a man!
We need to understand the God of the Bible is one. There is one God.
Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me.
But there are so called gods, but they are not true gods, they are man made idols. The Hindus believe in great many gods, the Mormons believe in many gods. But to us there is only one God.
1Co 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Jesus is the God of the Old Testament.
Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Re 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Re 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And
he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and
the last.
Jesus told the Pharisees, the Jewish religious leaders of His day, that they would die in their sins if they did not believe that He was who He claimed to be.
Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth..

There are the old cults and the new cults, every single day a cult is born, they are sheep who comes in wolves clothing denying the true Jesus of the Bible.
Ac 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Faith Movement.
There is the word faith movement growing like wild fire. They believed
that Jesus was rich and his disciples were rich. The can be identified
as Name it and claim it, The
Prosperity Gospel, and Positive Confession. It’s a sin to be poor, it’s a sin to be
sick. Word-Faith teachings trace
their roots to E. W. Kenyon (1867-1948), a New England evangelical Bible
teacher, schoolmaster, and prolific writer. Kenyon authored eighteen books that
form the basis of much Word-Faith theology. He coined a number of phrases still
heard in the movement including, "What I confess, I possess. Kenneth Hagin (1917-2003), of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was heavily influenced by
Kenyon's writings. Hagin is often referred to as the "father" of the
modern Word-Faith movement Kenneth Hagin’s teachings were adored by Kenneth Copeland, Fred Price, Benny Hinn. Broadcasted this false
Doctrine by TBN (Founder of TBN is Paul Crouch) Paul Crouch allowed all who
believes in faith teaching to promote this gospel to the world. Then it
began to grow within Pentecostal and charismatic churches worldwide. Men like John Avanzini, Marilyn Hickey, Oral
Roberts, R. W. Shambach, Robert
Schuler, Robert Tilton, Morris Cerullo, Rodney Howard Brown, Joyce Meyer, Peter
Popoff, and many others taught this
doctrine. Now it is growing like a wild fire with the teachings of John Bevere,
Markus Bishop, Juanita Bynum, Kim Clement, Creflo Dollar, Jesse Duplantis,
Larry Huch, T.D Jakes, Bishop Eddie, L. Long, Clarence McClendon, Myles Munroe,
Steve Munsey, Mike Murdock, Joel Osteen, Rod Parsley, Karl Strader, Paula
White, Ed Young and many more…

Make money out of Jesus.
Satan is very clever presenting a different Jesus to the world, a Jesus
that is very pleasing to the flesh. This is the false Jesus and false
Christianity. This false Christianity went to Athens it became a philosophy,
when it went to Rome it became and organization, when it went to Europe it
became a culture and when it came to America it became a business.
Someone said, “Look up the dead birds in the sky.” And many are looking
up, some are saying, “We can’t see any dead birds in the sky.” You can’t see
because dead birds won’t fly. The point is people are gullible and they will
believe anything that looks good, sounds good as they have not read and studied
the word of God. The word of God is the standard, the measure where all are
judged according to the word of God.
Under the Old Testament, God could not trust his people to live among
other people, knowing that they may fall into temptations of this world, as
they will easily conform to their ways and become ungodly. So all nations were
to be driven out of Canaan. (See Lev
18:24-30)
The world knows the false Jesus but not the true Jesus of the Bible.
Joh 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have
known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
Only the true Christians who are born again and living a holy Christian
life, obedient to God’s word and follow him knows the true Jesus and the others
are deceived by the enemy of a false Jesus.
My question to you today is, which Jesus do you worship? Jesus of the
world or the historical Jesus of the Bible? If you say, you worship the
historical Jesus of the Bible, do you know this Jesus? You may say, “yes, I know Jesus.” If I ask you do you know your pastor? Some
of you may say, “Yes, I see him every Sunday.” But have you met him, have
fellowship with him? Then some of you may say, “yes, I have met him but have
not had any fellowship with him and no friendship or any relationship with him.”
It is the same with Jesus. Many
will say yes “we know him.” The question is do you have fellowship with him.
1Jo 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye
also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father,
and with his Son Jesus Christ.
You may even say, “Yes, I have fellowship with him.” Then you cannot have fellowship with an
outsider, but you can have a true fellowship with the person you love. Like
husband and wife have fellowship with each other as they love one another. Then the question is do you love Jesus?
Joh 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
Yes, many will say they love Jesus. If you love him do you obey him?
Joh 14: 23 Jesus answered him, “If
anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will
come to him and make our home with him.
1 Cor 16: 22 If anyone has no love for the Lord, let
him be accursed. Our Lord, come!
Loving
Jesus is to obey him. If you are living in sin, contrary to the Bible then you
are not having fellowship with the true Jesus.
1 John
1:6 If
we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not
practice the truth.
The fallen man, the flesh is
very deceitful, you can deceive yourself. But there are two people you cannot
deceive. A medical doctor and God. If you have a sickness you have to tell the
truth to the doctor without any compromise or else you can die. It is the same
with God. You can deceive yourself and others but cannot deceive God.
Joh 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of
mine.
