The
Christians have the hope of seeing God.
Job 19:25-26 English Standard Version (ESV)
25 For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the earth.
26 And after my skin has been thus destroyed,
yet in my
flesh I shall see God,
Job lived almost at the same time
around Abraham, yet Job says, I know my Redeemer lives, who
is the Redeemer? To pay off and buy something, also it means to set someone
free and to pay a ransom, Jesus is our Redeemer, he is
the one who paid the ransom for our sins.
knowing that you were ransomed from the
futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as
silver or gold, 19 but
with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
(1 Peter 1:18-19)
Jesus redeemed us from sin, from the law,
from condemnation, from Satan, from hell. Yes, my brothers and sisters, we don’t
have a dead Redeemer, a dead savior cannot save anyone, we have a living
Redeemer and because he lives, I live also. What shall you exchange for your
Redeemer? Satan will tempt you with
another religion, with wealth, money, the treasures of this world, but don’t
ever be deceived for those temptations, it is Christ who paid the price for
you, it is Christ who saved you from the pit of hell.
Now you live for Christ in good times and in bad times.
Job said once his skin was restored in his
flesh he will see God. Job did not have a Bible like you, yet he spoke by faith
in the spirit. He knew even if he died, one day he would rise again and see
God.
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
Beloved, who created you? God created you. Many times we would like to know our ancestors, our roots, but how much more we need to know our Creator.
Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has
not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears
we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. (1 John
3:2)
Yes, one day we shall have a heavenly body like our
Redeemer, our Savior. Don’t you like to see who created you and who saved
you? Jesus is coming only for those who
are looking forward to him, people who are busy doing their own thing and have
no time for the Lord, the Lord has no time for them either. I encourage you to
put your first love and devotion on Jesus alone.
