means troubled water with waves, typhoon. Restless water.
Hearts troubled, confused, complicated,
restless, painful, anxious, sorrowful and fearful when they heard he was going
to leave them, going to be killed
They had high expectations of the Messiah,
expecting higher blessings the Christ.

They were with Jesus for little over 3
years, they experienced his glory as John said, we
beheld his glory, witnessed, holy wisdom, agape love, revealed the will of the
Father,

Presence of Jesus was heaven on earth.
Witnessed, the blind could see, dumb could talk, lame could walk, demons cast
out, raising the dead, healing the sick, his miracles, above all, prostitutes,
tax collectors, thieves, murderers and all kinds of sinners, a new life, Therefore, if anyone
is in Christ, he is a new creation.[a] The old
has passed away; behold, the new has come (2 Cor

For over 3 years, Jesus was there for them,
they knew he was the Messiah, God in the flesh, they dearly loved him, they
leaned on his bosom, to think he is going to be crucified brought heavy pain to
their hearts.
Now the disciples having extreme heart
pain, unspeakable sorrow when he said he has to face death. What will happen to
them? They left everything..
Jesus who created them knew what was going
in their minds, there was room enough in his large heart for their sorrows, in
all their afflictions, he was afflicted as he carried their sorrows.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (Ps 34:18)
Jesus comforts them with these words “Let
not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. (John 14:1)
He has the cure, the medicine for anxiety, the fearful pain in the hearts, restless hearts. You believe in God, then believe in me also,
another way to put it, you have faith in God, then
have faith in me also.
