When Man went to the moon.

On Christmas Day 1968, the three astronauts of Apollo 8 circled the dark side of the moon and headed for home. Suddenly, over the horizon of the moon rose the blue and white Earth garlanded by the glistening light of the sun against the black void of space. Those sophisticated men, trained in science and technology, did not utter Einstein's name. They did not even go to Mohammad, Buddha or Krishna,  poets, the lyricists, or the dramatists. But remembered the only and only Creator God, how can they not escape when they saw the awe inspiring majesty and the beauty of outer pace.. Billions heard the voice through TV and Radio,  from outer space as the astronaut read it: "In the beginning God" —the only concept worthy enough to describe  awe, unutterable in any other way. "In the beginning God created" — yes, my friend, our God is an awesome, majestic God, how we need to give him, praise, honor and glory to Him.

See the prayer of king David below how he addressed God;

1 Chronicles 29:11-13 Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. 11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. 12 Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. 13 And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.

Now see how king David addressed himself

1 Chronicles 29:14-15 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. 15 For we are strangers before you and sojourners, as all our fathers were.

That is the right way to pray, we need to exalt the living majestic God and in the light of his glory we need to humble ourselves. The more you exalt God, the more you become humble. There is no room for human righteousness and pride at the throne room of God. All the glory goes to God!
