The Death of Christ.

By Nick Bibile

The same Christ that was crucified his coming as a Lion to judge the earth. The day is coming when every knee shall bow before him and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord to the glory of God. He who is not for Christ is against Christ.

Lu 11:23 He that is not with me is against me.

Christ did not come for the righteous but for the sinners. Man will look outwardly and see there are a lot of good people. Jesus said, even if you look at a woman with lust in your heart you have committed adultery.

How many times you have secretly looked at a pretty girl with lust in your heart? Then you are an adulterer.

God told you should not lie. Have you ever lied? Even once. God is infinitely holy, infinitely righteous, and he is not like a man who will compromise, one lie will make you a liar. If you have lied, then you are a liar.

God told do not steal. Have you ever stolen something, anything. Then you are a thief. Now you at yourself, you are a liar, a thief and an adulterer. When God looks at your heart everything is naked before him.

Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

When you realize that you have violated the law of God, then you are guilty before the judge of the universe you are under punishment. As God is infinitely holy the punishment will be infinite. Hell is not a joke a real place of eternal fire.

Ro 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

When is the last time that you heard someone died for a good man, that someone gave his life for a good man? You do not hear it. The Pharisees looked so religious during the time of Jesus, yet they never died for anyone. No religious leader died for his people. So this is very uncommon for someone to die for a good person then how much so for the ungodly! On the other hand God demonstrated his love, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. Christ died for the people who realized who have sinned against God. They know they are sinners. They realize they have violated the law of God, they realize they deserve the wrath of God, they realize they are in danger, no way of escape, then it is for them that Christ died.

Isa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

We see when they beat Jesus, and mocked him, he willingly submitted to the suffering. He gave his face to those who plucked his beared, and he gave his face to be spitted in the front of the crowd, and was not ashamed nor did he hide his face. They insulted him, mocked him, but he did not seek away to escape those insults. He willingly made a curse for those who were curse for those who knew that they have been cursed by breaking the law of God.

Isa 50:3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

They are not beating and spitting on another man, but Christ Jesus who is the author of life, the creator of the Universe. He who covers the heavens with blackness, yet did not cover his own face. The whole Universe is in his hand, yet he was blindfolded by men who he had himself made. The face of Christ is the brightness of the sun, yet he allowed them to spit upon his face, I am sure the angels closed their eyes at this site. There is a day that all heavens are going to praise and adore him, yet there is a silence of adoration that once men mocked him, beat him, crucified him. Christs sacred hands were nailed to the cross. Woe is man, woe is us and woe is me as we were all responsible.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

In the midst of all this, he was calm, never opened his mouth.

Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Why was Christ calm, why he never opened his mouth? He looked beyond the Roman nail, he looked beyond the mocking. It was already planned in heaven before the foundations of the earth, that he would come and die for his own people and save them from the wrath of God.

Ac 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain.

It pleased the Father to bruise him. It was designed and planned by the mind of God, he who knows the every hair of your head, when he notice such small things, he did not omit the solemn decrees the greatest wonder of all miracles, the death of Christ for his people.

Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

He suffered the horror of hell, the wrath of God was upon him, he stood until that black cloud emptied itself completely. We owed God an enormous debt, Christ paid that debt we owed, he satisfied the justice of God, he took all our sins.

At the trial of Jesus, the high priest ask him;

Mt 26:63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Who would be tortured for a lie. But for the truth they will stand. Jesus so much under pressure told the truth, because it is the truth, he cannot lie. He is the Son of God. The true Christians were martyred, some were sawn in two, stoned to death, crucified, given to the wild animals to be eaten alive, burned to death, yet they could have denied the faith in such acute pain, but they could not because it is the truth.
