Coronavirus and Death

Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.  (Matthew 10:28)

There is a fear of death today due to coronavirus.  But even apart from the coronavirus what is the percentage of death? 100%  My beloved brothers and sisters, see the big picture.  Death has not changed.

We as Christians take the coronavirus seriously and take appropriate precautions. It is a warning for all when all is going fine, how quickly it can affect the whole world and how fast all need to change their lifestyle.  Some of us have been  living a lifestyle where Jesus is at the back seat, suddenly you are awake as God who is on the throne can even bring a calamity to wake the sleeping Christians and for those unbelievers who have no hope, maybe when there is a fear like this they may turn to God.

True Christians have been freed from the fear of death.  Most of the people have no fear of God, now there is a fear of death, Lord of heaven, who governs every germ and molecule in the universe, says to anyone with ears to hear,

Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.  (Matthew 10:28)

Yes, my friend, death is 100% all are going to die sooner or later, but what about your soul? If you are not a true Christian you will end up in hell, you may not believe it, you may compromise it but I trust in Jesus words, he who died and rose again from the dead is the best testimony we have.

But for the true Christian, there is hope as God is in control, as Jesus said, .Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” (Matthew 10:29-30)

Jesus told us not to fear.

So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:31)

The coronavirus is due to sin, you maybe religious but without the true Jesus of the Bible, Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5) Jesus said, if you love me you will obey my commandments. (John 14:15-17)  Why won’t you give your life to Jesus, surrender your life to him. For the true Christian death is not a loss but gain as we gain heaven.  (Philippians 1:21)
