Jesus appeared only to believers

By Nick Bibile

When Jesus resurrected on that glorious Sunday morning, he appeared to his disciples and only to the believers. He did not appear to the people who crucify him and the people who did not believe. He was on earth for forty days, appearing on and off to the disciples and believers.

It’s going to be the same in his second coming, he is coming only to the believers, who are looking forward for him. There are three groups of people when it comes to Christianity.

1.       True Born again Christians.

2.       Who say they are Christians only outwardly but not inwardly born again.

3.       Unbelievers who deny the Lord Jesus.

True Christians

They are born again – John 3:3

They love the Lord, put God first – Matthew 6:33, 22:37, 1 Cor 16;22

They have an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus- John 10:3-7

They are hungry for his word – Matthew 4:4, John 14:23

They pray, have fellowship with the Lord – 1 John 1:3, 1 Pet 4:7

They witness of the Lord to others – Mathew 28:18-20

They are looking forward for Lord’s return – Mathew 24:42, Luke 12:40, Rev 16:15

HEAVEN

Christians outwardly

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 7:21

They are  not born again

They put other things first, love to the Lord is last.

They are lukewarm – Rev 3:16

They don’t have an intimate relationship, they remember God once in a way.

They have no desire for the word of God – Mat 6:33

They have no time to pray

They love the world – 1 John 2:15

They have no desire to bring someone to the Lord

As their mind is focused on this earth, they are not looking for the Lord’s return

HELL

They deny the Lord Jesus Christ

They openly say they are not Christians.
