Why have these Study Notes?
Evangelism is imortant, and it is commanded by the Lord. But once a soul is won to the Lord, then what do you do? This is where discipleship comes in. It is also commanded by the Lord. We are not to leave newly converted babes in Christ stranded or floating adrift in the world. We are to spend our time with them and go through the Word of God with them, to raise them to spiritual maturity!
Therefore, there is a need for good sound Biblical material to help guide us in Studying the Bible together. This does not mean that we should not have personal, private study time with the Lord. These study notes are just 'helps' and they give us a place to start from when discipling someone. Discipling goes much further than simply going through a pre-made Bible study. Please keep this in mind. -Editor.
